Synopsis:

Experts estimate that as many as half of all autistic individuals around the world remain undiagnosed. This leaves millions of people navigating life without understanding why they feel different from those around them. Many endure this quietly, sensing they don’t quite fit in, but lacking the language or diagnosis to explain their experiences.

Author Robert Noble seeks to change that with his compelling new book, I’m Autistic, Get Me Out of Here, recently published by Kingdom Publishers. Written for those who suspect they may be on the spectrum—as well as for friends, family members, and anyone who interacts with autistic individuals—the book offers insight, encouragement, and practical tools for better understanding and self-acceptance.

Drawing from his own experiences, Rob shares not only his journey through autism but also his deeply personal walk with God over more than 70 years. His story is a powerful testament to God's unwavering presence, faithfulness, and guidance through every season of life, joyful, painful, and transformative.

The author says:

Many neurotypical people including Christians misunderstand autistic traits—like  expression of emotion, social reserve, or literal communication—especially in church settings . My book can serve as a bridge: inviting people to understand needs, like clear structure, sensory accommodations, and respectful communication styles and to enable the neurodiverse person to feel welcome and accepted.

I wrote this for people like me—those who always knew they were different but never knew why. It’s also for their loved ones, and really for everyone, because we all meet people with autism in our everyday lives. With understanding comes hope, peace, and even joy. There’s something here for everyone.’

About the Author:
Born in Muswell Hill in 1947, Robert was four when he started to talk. Until he was seven, he says “My autistic response looked like a cross between an enthusiastic bird and Enid Blyton’s Noddy. I’d nod my head (with no bell on the top of my hat) or flap my arms as if I were moments away from take-off.”

His book takes readers on a journey with added humour, from Rob’s childhood, when he was misunderstood, and society was not accepting or aware of additional needs and how to support these people.  These children
